Mandalas are geometric designs made through uniform divisions of a circle. The divisions are symbols that embody the mathematical principles found throughout creation and reveal the inner workings of nature and the inherent order of the universe. Mandalas act as a bridge between the different dimensions or realms of archetypes.
The Atlantis healing / energizing mandala is a combination of the Atlantis ring pattern (which by itself is already powerful) and rings of colours which activates almost all parts of the energy body. Just looking at it will activate the life force, or chi, energy but the mandala has many other uses.

1. Line your feet up with your thigh bones, knees above ankles, hips and torso aligned. Place your feet firmly into the ground, hips lifted, sternum lifted, shoulders and arms relaxed, top of the head rising upwards to the sky.
2. Spread your toes. Feel the balls of your feet and your heels connecting to the ground. Press down powerfully through your feet until you feel the earth pushing back. Let this push expand up through your shin bones, front thighs and torso. Feel how your body lengthens and lifts, growing into the space above your head.
3. Imagine a string gently lifting the crown of your head. While keeping your body strong, soften your ears, shoulders and jaw. Soften internally but keep a strong physical shell.
4. Focus on full deep breaths. Feel the rising of your abdomen as you draw the breath into the depths of the lungs. Release the air fully as you exhale and try to let your inhalation be the same length as your exhalation. Allow a greater intake of air on the next breath yet keeping the breath steady and natural.

Alignment creates a harmonious flow of energy and a clear pathway through the body creating space between the joints and muscles. Consider the bones as they carry the muscles. Improving alignment creates a synergy between your bones and muscles as they work together. Muscles become supple and strong, helping to move your energy more freely throughout the body.
To find good alignment, stand in Mountain Posture and notice the direction of your feet. Place them facing forward from your knees, your weight spread evenly. Keep your knees above your ankles, hips above knees, torso rising upwards, shoulders relaxed away from the ears, neck and head lifting. Now, be aware of your posture and alignment. Are your bones and muscles working in effectively together? Can you feel the symmetry in your body?
Alignment comes from surrendering and grounding, connecting with the earth. When you are aware of these principles, your breath will become deeper and more at ease. All elements of your body will start to work in synergy with one another.
